We automatically generate and store a unique user identifier on your device when you first use the App. This identifier is used to associate your plant monitoring devices with your app installation and is stored locally on your device.

2.2 Plant Monitoring Data

When you add plant monitoring devices, we collect and store:

• Device names and locations you provide
• Soil moisture sensor readings from your ESP32 devices
• Moisture thresholds you configure
• Device online/offline status
• Timestamps of sensor readings

2.3 Technical Information

We may collect basic technical information including:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Crash reports and error logs to improve app stability

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide real-time plant moisture monitoring
• Send you notifications when your plants need watering
• Store your device configurations and sensor readings
• Maintain and improve the App's functionality
• Troubleshoot technical issues

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase, a secure cloud platform. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Firebase security rules ensure that your device data is only accessible by your unique user identifier.

• Delete - Delete your devices and associated data at any time through the App

• Uninstall - Remove the App from your device at any time

We retain your data for as long as you use the App. When you delete a device through the App, its data is immediately removed from our database. If you uninstall the App and reinstall it, a new user identifier will be generated and your previous data will not be accessible.

9. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Push Notifications

The App may send you push notifications when your plants need watering. You can disable these notifications at any time through your device settings.
